Spit Hot Fire So fire first, and ask tough questions last. We're running out of time, but they'll find a cure for that. Carry all our secrets in balled up fists. Gripped so goddamn tight, oxygen can't exist. Never stood a chance against the hands of time. Never stood a chance, we’ll stand to the side.

Whalesounds 02:44
Whalesounds Can’t say exactly when that moment was where we lost our innocence, lost our youth. But I can say that it’s been a steady decline since we lost the fire in our throats, we lost the fight in our guts. Don’t tell me that it’s all a part of growing up, losing touch and falling apart. I’ve been fed that bullshit since I was child to prepare me for a world calloused and cold, hoping one day I would “break the mold”. And graduate close to home from a local state school. Get a teaching gig up north and make a difference in a child’s life, maybe save my own. Now I sit here with baited breath, waiting on a second guess. Down here we’re all living to the best of our abilities. But these full time jobs are making us dependent on caffeine, beer, and quoting movies. Reality is eating us alive, no matter how hard we try. We are searching for meaning, a sense of pride, a sense of accomplishment. We all long to be free. We are searching for meaning, a sense of pride, a sense of accomplishment. We all long to be free. At the end of the day, we all want to say that we’re truly free.

There is No “U” in Team I remember you sitting next to me. Drinking beers, watching TV and listening to our brain cells slowly rot. You never put those days to bed. You never once looked a day ahead. Never one to heed advice, you always fought and fought. Now it's time to take a look around to see just where the fuck it got you... ...and that was nowhere. Never could correct a past mistake, you chose your fate... ...and that was nowhere. Can't take the past away, so I gotta say goodbye and good luck my friend. Do the lies lay on your tongue, fall right or run down your lungs? A lies a lie, don't act surprised this time. Had your back when it was against the wall, can't do nothing now but watch you fall. Shaking our heads, wishing words you said, was it really what you meant? Now it's time to take a look around to see just where the fuck it went... ...and that was nowhere. Never could correct a past mistake, you chose your fate... ...and that was nowhere. Can't take the past away, so I gotta say goodbye and good luck my friend. And it's safe to bet that soon regret will fill your mind now. But I gave all until the fall that brings us to now. And you can never say that I didn't try. I tried to help..... …but that went nowhere. Never could correct a past mistake, you chose your fate... ...and that was nowhere. Can't take the past away, so I gotta say goodbye and good luck my friend. Good luck my friend.

No Failure 03:00
No Failure Momma said think long and hard of what you value most in life and grab it. Well Momma I thought it through, I'm done with pretending my dreams came true, I've had it. Bring me back to when I thought that we were moving forward (the second time around). Now I can't keep myself from turning backwards the second time around. There is no failure in looking forward. The melody hits me, it seems these second chances are a dream that can't be found. All alone wondering where you're at feels like I'm having a fucking heart attack, God help me. One more night sitting by a phone, wondering if you still feel like home, I doubt it. Wish I’d wake up. Enough is enough. Who can I trust? Bring me back to when I thought that we were moving forward (the second time around). Now I can't keep myself from turning backwards. Bring me back to when I thought that we were moving forward, the second time around. There is no failure in looking forward. Humility hits me, it seems second chances are a dream that can't be found. There is no failure in looking forward. Reality hits me, it seems second chances are a dream that can't be found...so I keep searching.

Blood Ran Cold I know you used to be one of us, that eventually expired. I'm tired, making excuses for your new found life left on the floor. No desire to stand beside a liar. It's too weak to say that you have "sealed your FATE"....what an awful irony. My blood ran cold. I blamed myself. Brother, did I let you down? I feel like I must of did something wrong. It took way too long to see this on my own. I know I'm not the one who led you down this road. Hope you find your way back home. Everyday's a remedy, breaking like a motherfucking memory repeating...repeating. Every day I hear the letter written by his father, like you boys are some type of martyrs. Well I'm in between his life end tragedy, that hysteric courtroom scene, and the way things used to be. Impossible, to fix this now. Impossible. My blood ran cold. My blood ran cold. Impossible, to fix this now. It took way too long to see this on my own. I know I'm not the one who led you down this road. My blood ran cold.
