This recording was done in February 2008 with Clay Neely at Black Coffee Sound. These are all demo songs we were working on for a full length with FiveAcrossTheEyes (Brandon, Gabe, and Matt's band 1999-2008). We started working with Andy around this time and he sings all the songs on this demo. That band came to an untimely end almost immediately after this recording. Later that summer we decided to start playing new music under the moniker The Stereo State. We never really released these songs with either band. We wanted to make them available since Andy sings on them and "Ashes & Iron" and "Unless, Of Course" were staples in our set when we first got started.
